Karnataka is a state in southwest India with Arabian Sea coastlines. It has the second-highest number of protected monuments in India, Hampi being one which houses the maximum of them, was the capital of Vijayanagar Empire. The world's largest monolith structure, the statue of Lord Gomteshwar in Shravanabelagola sees tens of thousands of pilgrims during Mahamastakabhisheka festival every 12 years. Apart from history, Karnataka is also rich in nature's bounty and wildlife. It has 5 National Parks and over 25 wildlife sanctuaries of which Bandipur and Nagarhole national parks are most famous. Bengaluru, the capital of the state and the "Silicon Valley of India" is known as the city of startups and IT companies and attracts thousands of tourists every year. Coorg is one of the top destinations in Karnataka for its coffee plantations. Mysore, famous for the Mysore Palace, Hampi, famous for the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire and Chikmagalur, a hill station in the Malnad region of Karnataka is a few other popular places among the tourists.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 BANGALORE

    Arrive Bangalore airport / Train station meet and greet and transfer to Hotel. In the afternoon take a sightseeing tour of Bangalore visiting Vidhan Sudha, Lal Bagh, Central Library and the famous Museum and Cubbon Park. In the evening one can visit the famous MG road for shopping. Return to the hotel.

    Overnight at Bangalore.

    After the breakfast visit Abbey falls-Tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. Omkareshwara Temple-Just a stone’s throw away from the Madikeri Fort is the Omakareshwara Temple, built-in 1820 and featuring a blend of red-tile roofed Kerala architecture and Islamic-style domes. At 6.30 PM visit, Raja Seat-Raja Seat is an enchanting picnic spot with a swathing in nature’s lap at Madikeri in Coorg. A visitor to this spot is sure to enjoy the marvelous sight of Sunset and gorgeous valley and mountain ranges. The musical fountain has been attracting a large number of visitors to the garden.

    Return to hotel and overnight.
  • Day : 3 COORG

    After the breakfast and proceed for a full day sightseeing, Dubare elephant camp offer the 3-hour experience with Elephants consisting of elephant Grooming, feeding, Elephant Ride & Coracle Ride later visit Nisargadhama, Cauvery Island, is an island formed by river Cauvery and is used as a picnic spot island, with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, sandalwood, and teak trees and surrounded by the Cauvery river. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge. It has a deer park, orchidarium, and elephant and boat rides. Visitors are allowed to get into the water at a few shallow and safe points along the river. Lunch at Kushalnagar and visit Bylakuppe – the largest Tibetan settlement in South India. A beautiful Monastery with three large and imposing Golden Buddha statues and in a serene setting beckons you. The temple has 62 feet Buddha statues covered with gold plates is a wonderful sight anytime.

    Return to resort and overnight.
  • Day : 4 COORG – MYSORE

    Visit Maharaja Palace – the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions, are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dasara celebrations, Art Gallery – the art gallery in the Jaganmohan Palace houses an excellent collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory, stone, antique furniture, and ancient musical instruments, St. Philomena’s Church – this imposing Gothic structure with beautiful stained glass windows and lofty towers is a must-see. Later on in the evening visit Brindavan Garden – the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland.

    Return to the hotel and overnight at Mysore.
  • Day : 5 MYSORE - OOTY

    Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Ooty, including Botanical Gardens, which has several varieties of ornamental trees and plants and the Museum, waterfalls, forests and tea gardens, the scenic view of the Dodabetta peak, Ooty Lake and golf courses.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day : 6 OOTY

    After breakfast Proceed for local sightseeing Sims Park, Lam’s Rock, Dolphin Nose, Tea factory and Tea Gardens and Doddabetta.
